What do I really need to say? One of my longest wanted records and now in my possession. The revered s/t 12" EP, otherwise known as the "Breakaway" EP by none other than Straight Ahead. This is from the second (and arguably the most well known) pressing of the record with black wax and white sleeve with black print. The prior edition of this was released with a plain die cut sleeve while the following (and stated as the rarest by Flex!) was reversed with a black sleeve and white print. This first surfaced in 1987 thanks to iRisk and Some Records and was subsequently booted and reissued a couple times following, but to me this version has always seemed like the most legitimate and iconic version of all the pressings. Of all and every NYHC release this comes in as an absolute favourite right behind "Thou Shalt Not Kill" and "Age Of Quarrel". Really happy to finally own this.
